2019 proved to be one of the busiest years to date for Riverhead Ambulance. In total we responded to 4,514 calls for service which breaks down to an average of 12 calls per day. These calls included major motor vehicle accidents, life threatening medical emergencies, severe traumatic injuries and specialized rescues. In addition to these emergency calls, we also provided emergency medical coverage for special events throughout the township.

Our members and staff spent a tremendous amount of time during 2019 learning new techniques and procedures to be better prepared to help the community in their time of need.

The lives that have been forever changed by our highly motivated and dedicated members and staff are just too great to count.

We remain poised to answer the call and are ready to provide the highest level of prehospital emergency care.
