On March 2nd members of the Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps along with Riverhead Police officers were honored with Prehospital Save Awards. This is awarded to crews that are vital to a patients chain of survival when it comes to prehospital cardiac arrest. In order for a crew to receive this award their patient must survive discharge from the hospital neurologically intact.

The Chiefs, Officers and Board of Directors of Riverhead Ambulance are grateful for the dedication, compassion and skill these providers selflessly give to the community.
