On the evening of January 19th, Riverhead Ambulance responded to a reported motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival the patient was found to be in serious condition. A medevac was requested from the Suffolk County Police Department to transport the patient to Stony Brook University Medical Center. Riverhead Fire Department secured a landing zone at the Riley Avenue School. Units operated under the command of Chief Richardson.
