Riverhead Ambulance Treats Patient for Smoke Inhalation

On the morning of January 25th, Riverhead Ambulance was dispatched to the scene of a structure fire with a possible occupant still within. Upon arrival, Jamesport Fire Department had already removed the disabled occupant from the home and began treating them for smoke inhalation. The patient was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for further evaluation. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Riverhead Town Fire Marshal's Office.
