| EMS Week was kicked off this year with our annual Open House. Fun for all ages as the members of RVAC opened the doors to the community and showed them what we are all about. There were various activities to participate in, such as face painting, hands-only CPR, ambulance tours, and getting immobilized on a backboard with a collar. This year we had goodie bags for everyone to take home, as well as movie pass giveaways. Those in attendance got to see ambulances spring into action, and answer real time calls, as it was a very busy day in the town of Riverhead!
A big THANK YOU to Moes, the Sheriff's Dept, the SC Burn Center, and Island 16 for their donations and help with this event! |
