FIRST CREW TO GIVE BLOOD!!!!

🎉 Congratulations! 🎉

Riverhead was honored to be part of history today, partnering with Stony Brook Medicine EMS, as our crew assisted in giving blood. This marks the first time any crew in New York State that has given blood to a patient in the field.

This blood is used for critical patients in the prehospital setting, allowing lifesaving care to begin before arrival at the hospital. Through this partnership, Stony Brook Medicine continues to perform cutting-edge medicine in the field, advancing patient care when minutes matter most.

We are proud of this collaboration and of our members who continue to support the mission of saving lives—both on and off the call. ❤️🩸
